We had a fairly dry February (1.5" of precip).  The month started cold but we had a good warming trend over the last week or so.

I'm looking forward to finally uncovering the boat and hitting the water.

But how does March start?

With 1.5"+ of rain.  It has been raining all day.  The rivers are muddy and I'm sure the lakes are getting that way.

I was hoping to get either the canoe or boat out tomorrow and try for some trout, but it looks like we're going to be getting some rather nasty wind once this front passes through.

Hopefully I'll be able to get on the water by the first of May.   ;) :-/

We had a nice downpour here in Atlanta too. A very awesome thunderstorm this morning followed by random bouts of heavy rain all day. As a matter of fact, a nice heavy shower just ended...

We've had alot of it today. I just got back from Bass Pro and there is flooding everywhere. I am glad I have a truck because I ran over a tree and had to drive through 1 1/2 feet of water a couple of times.

Snow, snow and more snow here in Michigan, gettin tired of it.  I'm ready for warm weather

Sure wish we could get some here.  My big pond is as low as it's ever been (a total of about 10 feet low).

Despite a wet December and January, February didn't give us much.  It's as dry as a bone around here.

I feel for you Fisher of men. From what I am hearing on the weather channel is that this is supposed to be a very dry spring and summer. Hopefully you wont dry up.
