Well, I went and watched it today, but I guess it just wasn't my kind of movie.  Also, I wouldn't really call it and epic, as it's really played out like a comic book. But the most thing that really pushed my buttons was the computer generated stuff.  I don't know, I just like the older movies.  If you want a real story (I know it's loosely based, but it's more accurate then 300)  watch Braveheart...over and over again. But that's just my humble opinion.

wow I heard that movie was outstanding. Haven't seen it yet so can't give my opinion. Might see it this weekend. I am a big BraveHeart fan too though

if anybody else says that they did not like this movie, i will fight them to the death. Well, not really but it was a really cool movie with moderate historical accuracy, but of course they stretched the truth, its a movie. In the actual battle of thermopale, there was 300 vs 250,000. Not 300 vs 1,000,000. Also there were a few other mistakes, but overall it was a great movie, hella tight.
