The seat is open to anyone on the forums for a day or 2 fishing! I am going to fish alone a bit to learn some jig and spinnerbait fishing, I have to look at the glass 1/2 full,even if its filled with MUDDY WATER ;D

Sorry to hear that!  You do have a good attitude about it.  I like to fish alone sometimes, too, especially to learn new techniques.  I seem to focus more without the distraction of conversation.  However Muddy, if all of us take you up on your offer, then you'd have to have a VERY BIG boat for all of us.  We can re-name the team "8,000 Mooks In a Boat Fishing Team".  ;D  

BTW- Are we up to 8,000 yet?  I don't want to go to the home page for fear of losing this post.  Oh, well.

OK, I went back and looked.  Make that the "8,668 Mooks in a Boat Fishing Team".  

Muddy I called M&H Marine this morning (near Beltzville Lake).  I'm planning on taking the boat in on Saturday to have another fish finder installed.  They said there is still ice on Beltzville and Mauch Chunk, although in their words it's getting MUSHY.  Was hoping to do some bass fishing in this weekend oh well.  Looks like I will be doing some transom work on the 14 ft Mauch Chunk Special instead.

This spring, when I'm planning on going solo to Mauch Chunk, I will PM you in advance, and maybe we can get a couple of days of fishing in.  Question is, can you deal with a Phillies fan?

I can deal with any NL team fan, it's those AL guys that get under your skin. It would be great and you gotta spend a day im my boat Zel. I mean that offer anyone close to my Hood is welcome to fish if Im off that day

Thanks muddy, it would be great fishing out of the Muddy Boat.  Hopefully that Muddy Waters song Got My Mojo Working will work for us chasing those weedy bass.
