Go to Sams and get the Norton.  You can get it alot cheaper there.  Get Norton Internet Security,  it has everything you need.  Stay with Norton. ;)

You should be getting a pop up that your Norton is expiring in x amount of days, do you want to renw on line. I clicked it then went to Sams the cheapest it was at Sam's was 60 bucks but it was only 50 renewing on line ;) I have very limited experince on the computer but you shold check how much your particlar package is at Sams vs internet. I have the software already so i think thats why the renew is cheaper

Good call,  I'll bet you're right.  I never thought of that Muddy. ;)

I would stick with Norton , I just opened a file from a friend on my MSN and loaded a trojan a few days ago and my Norton saved me. This virus got in her MSN messenger and sent it to everyone on her contact list. She has Macafee and it ate her puter up its in the shop now.

I also have AVG spyware its free spyware scanning

And Windows Defender is free as well

also there is Sygate Firewall....  all of those can be loaded free off the net, just google search those names and you an get free downloads

They can be set up to run along with Norton when installing Norton there is a box you can select  run other stuff on top of the norton be sure to check or uncheck ( not sure I think you un check ) that box

I was told to stay away from norton by a bunch of computer geeks. I have trend and windows defender. Both are real great.

Norton isn't the best, it'll work but it won't detect everything or remove everything. I would recommend getting Kaspersky Antivirus and Webroot Spysweeper for the best possible protection (IMO)
