I would show you guys a picture of what Muddy really looks like but I don't want to run everybody off this great site.

OK I have to tell my accent story and it's TRUE! We were working up around Wayne, NJ. My crew stopped at a tiny little Chinese take out to grab some lunch. One of my helpers is originally from Kentucky and has a very minimal accent. When he ordered his lunch, the CHINESE guy behind the counter, as serious as he could be, said the following..."AAWWW SOOOO, YOOO NUUUT FRUUMMM ROUNNNN HEEER< AWWW YOOO?" My other helper and I fell on the floor laughing. You just had to be there. It was hilarious.

Almost as funny as LBH's southern accent. (OOOhh ...Sorry Russ, couldn't resist).

P.S. aint never had grits but yall need to try scrapple. basically if youve never been to the delmarva pinnensula youve probably never had it

I spent a while on a job in Bucks County PA, the local greasy spoon served scrapple. I asked 'em "What in the hell is a scrapple???" Waitress replied "All the stuff that doesn't go into hot dogs!"

I'm all set.  :P

For the record. Any time I spend an extended period in a southern state, I come home sounding like it. Apparently my friends find it annoying.  8-)

I always end up with a little twang when I come back from visiting my family. It's weird because I lived there all my life and people say I don't have an accent. But these days when I go back I pick it up. Mabye I'm just getting lazier as I get older.

Alpster,

That's hilarious. That's about as broad a spectrum as you can get, Chinese guy doing a redneck accent.

I spent a week in Bowling Green, KY. Absolutely beautiful country down there. We drove from RI, went through Lexington past Keeneland...wow, what a beautiful state!  :)

Lived in Lexington for 3 yrs. Had a blast there. Definately beautiful country down that way. I used to love driving out in the country checking out the horse farms. Keeneland's awesome too. Great way to spend a day. Have a good cigar, sip on some bourbon, wager a little money on a horse. Man I miss those days.

They always walk the horses that are going to be in the next race out in a courtyard. That was fun to see. Very beautiful animals.
