Not sure if there's any NBA fans on here, but I just had to vent.

FIRST TIME IN BEST OF 7 SERIES #8 team beats #1 team.

WARRIORS WON PAST 6 GAMES AT HOME VS MAVERICKS

MAVERICKS WON 67GAMES / WARRIORS WON 42 THIS SEASON

THE TEAM WITH THE BEST RECORD IN THE NBA HAS WON 10 OF THE LAST 12 YEARS

MAVERICKS HAD THE BEST RECORD IN THE NBA

WARRIORS GOT IN THE PLAYOFFS BY WINNING THEIR LAST 9 OUT OF 10 GAMES

FIRST TIME WARRIORS GOT IN THE PLAYOFFS SENSE 93

FIRST TIME WARRIORS ADVANCE PAST FIRST ROUND SENSE 91

DON NELSON WAS THE MAVERICKS COACH FROM 97-05 THEN GOES TO THE WARRIORS AND SPANKS THE MAVS

CHARLES BARKLEY CAN'T EAT IT!!!

Anything I forgot to mention? Please feel free to add.

THIS IS HISTORY IN THE MAKING.

(I live in Oakland and have been a disappointed fan for the past 13 years)

Hey, you're entitled to vent after that historic spanking they gave the Mavs. Just hold off a little on getting fitted for the ring.  ;)

Had Dallas put a bit more effort into their last regular season meeting with Golden State, they may have been playing a different team over the last two weeks.   :-X

The warriors beat the REAL MAVERICKS lineup the 2 regular season meetings prior to that though..

Not to mention, the warriors spanked the mavs in the playoffs when it meant more then anything, so what's to say the Mavericks would have been able to win that game right before the playoffs...

I live in Oakland, and every street I drive down, people are wearing warriors jerseys, selling warriors shirts and hats, and everything. It's crazy here. I've never seen so many people happy in Oakland.

Where were they for the last 15 years?

How many of those people knew the team existed before the playoffs began?

haha thats so true, Burley, thats all I've been telling my boys who seem to be new fans of GS.

I guess I am kinda King's fan. But I just flat out cannot stand Nowitzki. I don't really follow the nba. For me is D1 college ball or bust!

9 out of 10 times I'd totally agree with what you're implying..

BUT, Oakland has always been full of warriors fans, I myself have been a fan sense I can remember (I'm 19 now), but now that there's actually something to cheer about, it just gives reason to cheer and show the pride even more..

I'm an A's fan (Not for long sense they're moving), I'm a warriors and sharks fan, and a huge Raiders fan, yes a fan of the 2-14 Raiders!

I'd say 99% of the people that don't live in the Bay Area and many that do live here, are "Band Wagoning" but hey that's what always happens.

For me, I'm not concerned nor do I care about that, this is purely a time of celebration and waiting for the next series to begin!
