Troutfisher's Trivia Game!

Featured Replies

Alright guys, time for a new game.  This will be a fishing trivia game.  I got the idea off of a board game.  The rules are simple:  one user will post a...guess what...fishing question!  Another user will attempt to answer.  If they get it right, they post a question for the next person.

I'll start it out.

What does the O in a 9/O hook stand for?

What does the O in a 9/O hook stand for?

I dont know how to spell it, but...

aought, awt, aught  as in nine aought hook.

Is that right?

Yes.  Now, since that is correct, then you post a new question.

This is a cool idea, but the person that asks the question neads to be sure and post back if the guesses are right or not for it to work. Did that make sense?  :-/

Sorry folks, I had a tourney this weekend and had no time to post a question.

Here goes.....

What do fish use their lateral line for?

I was hopeing for a little more detail, but that is correct.

63-65 degrees, although I believe the spawn is based more on moon phases and duration of daylight

Here's an easy one:  what is the cross between a hybrid striped bass and a white bass called?

feeling around for food ....i believe its because they have poor eyesight?

hmmmm.....close enough.....however the catfish has tastebuds in its whiskers which allow it not just to feel about but actually taste what its whiskers touch!  But since ultimatly finding food would have been a broad but correct answer, and cuz your a youngin you win!!! LOL

thanks for lettin me slide by lol.......hmmm??? this one is pretty easy but i cant think of any good ones at the moment......whats the purpose of a bass's sand paper like teeth?
