After John's ethical post (sorry john, I think I was a little aggressive and for that I give you my apologies), It got me thinking.  On any other board that thread would have spiraled out of control and be filled with cursing and everything else.  So I think that it shows us just how many quality guys we have here on the forum, who are willing to debate in a civilized manner and them put there differences behind them to help each other.

So that being said,  Kudos to everyone! :)

I think the topic got the better of everyone. But I agree. I've been on forums where many things have gotten out of hand and in result many people were banned.

Hookemdown, it wasn't just you who was rather aggressive. I think after LBH's post everyone followed along and in the end I was being agressively attacked by everyone. I respect nature and I love creatures, but all that argument, the accusations, the attacks were all just for one single little creature. I mean yeah I am sure he would have made a big impact on the environment, but I can gurantee you that he isn't the only one out there.

But I do agree indeed, I wish the best for everyone, and hopefully we can put this behind us and continue the legacy of the greatest bass fishing forum there could ever be!!  ;) 8-) :)

What do you say everyone?  :P

Your absolutely right.  that LBH fella is a trouble maker.

I think we should kill him and eat him. Not much of meal but it just might teach him a lesson!!!!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Burley, you are right. Sometimes arguing is fun, but a lot of times it can end with feelings hurt, etc. This isn't the case with me though. I am as happy as a pig in mud!  ;D ;D ;D

I think I would've thought a little longer before posting that analogy.

oops...I posted that in a wrong way. what I meant was arguments can really teach you something. It tells you what the other people (or persons) in the arguments are backing up and what they think or believe in.

Debates are fun is what I really meant. We use to have debates in school in like science class, one debate we had was in Environmental Science and we were debating on wether car manufacturers should install catalytic converterers (sp?) to reduce air pollution or not. Me and half of the class were for it while the other half was against it (argued that we don't need them). It was a fun little experiment.

It ended in a stalemate. Because their strongest point was that the converterers would cost money, time and energy, and ours was it was better to spend the money to install the converterers rather than pay for proper disposal of waste to reduce air pollution.

It was a fun debate and it ended with interesting results.  :)
