The luckiest you even been (off water)

Featured Replies

So I gotta tell ya fellas, last summer i had an amazing amount of luck in my everyday life.  I won a grill at the bank... yes an actuall grill worth like 150 bucks (1nna those coleman roadtrip things)along witha  cooler.  I won 250 bucks at Branns on a pull tab, i won a little  cooler at a restaurant during a Tigers game and I caught a pop fly a tigers game on my birthday this year, may 22.  A small price to pay for HITTING EVERY LIGHT RED I'VE COME TO THIS YEAR

Anyone else had a strange amount of good  fortune this year?

On July 30th 1972 I won my wife's hart. ;)

I'm sure the wrapping was/is lovely

In 1969 we traveled from Quin Hon through the Plekiu Valley to see another officer at this post.

We passed a convoy on the highway on our trip.

We got through the pass without any problem.

Charlie hit the convoy behind us.

Our Colonel said we were very luck as the VC let us pass and waited for the convoy.

Had there been no convoy behind us we probably would have been blasted out of our jeep.

This is the luckiest I have ever been.

As with frogtog, my luckiesy day was Feb. 16,1967 the day I met my wife. We'll be celebrating our 39th anniversary on Nov. 8th. Without her I don't know where I'd be today.

When I was a much younger man I used to get lucky from time to time.  Ah, how I miss those days and those lovely ladies.  ;)

Avid, I have a young bride whom I've been married to for thirty-eight years who might take a little offense at me looking up the "old girls," dentures or not. Besides, there is a part of me that has no other interest but to stare at the floor. You know the old adage. The spirit is willing but the flesh is limp - or something like that. But, I still have the wonderful memories - at least until Alzheimer's kicks in. ;D :'(

I forgot to mention that I used to get lucky from time to time, but I got REAL lucky when I met my wife.  She is my best friend and the only love of my life.  It's a cryin shame that she hates to fish.

How does a low down, dirty rotten, no good, sob like you end up with the girl of his dreams?

I'm very happy for you.

Now, they have this little blue pill....................................................

I would say call LBH, but he's on vacation.  Muddyman should be able to tell you more about it.

Whew, I guess the luckiest I've been is when I slammed my dad's truck into a tree when I was 19.  Even though I walked away from it, I spent a week in the hospital with 4 broken ribs, cracked sternum, bruised heart, and I broke my face in 3 places.  To either side of the tree was a cornfield, which some people may say makes it unlucky, but if I wasn't lucky, I wouldn't be here today...

The day I met my wife. I thought I never would remarry or want kids but she changed all that. She had two beautiful girls and I could not imagine life without them! :)

Besides, there is a part of me that has no other interest but to stare at the floor.

Please no visuals.
