Tennesee Vols DE Xavier Mitchell went to tackle a California WR and got his head jarred backwards so much that caused him to lay motionless on the field for several minutes before medics were able to get him on a stretcher on a medical cart. As he was being carted of the field he was barely moving his hand around. It is so sad when something like this happens but every one who plays football knows that when you put on those pads and helmet you are taking that risk of being hurt like this.

Praise the Lord that he was able to move his arm after that hit, and that it wasn't anymore serious.  Let's just hope that it was a "stinger" and that he will only be "sore" for a short time, and be able to come back to full capacity.
