Featured Replies

Haha just a shoutout to all the Skins Fans out there...Leave Some Redkins Love!

There are officially two of us. Go Skins!

LOL,

I remember growing up, you were either a Redskins or Cowboy fan. I had an uncle that live in Maryland so I guess I was pressured into the skins. Not my favorite team now, but I still pull for them

2 Die hard Skins Fans > All other fans combined  ;)

HAIL VICTORY!!!!!

Question:  Is it Washington state or Washington, D.C.?

Nice upset last night BTW.  8-)

I don't think upset is accurate. Did we not see Mcnabb play last week? Apparently he is not the same since his injury last year. If you ask me, I'd rather have Garcia back. Love those Philly fans though huh? Booing Mcnabb on every pass that was either behind, ahead, low, high, etc. What fair weather fans. Anyway, back to the point. With Mcnabb playing this poorly in both games (though he looked great in preseason), you gotta wonder how Philly is gonna rebound from an 0-2 start when they were a favorite if Mcnabb was healthy.

Westbrook is carrying that team right now as far as the run game is concerned. Cooley finally got involved this week, it was just a matter of time. With the Eagles focusing on shutting down both Moss and Randle El (who punished it last week) it left Cooley open to make some great plays over the middle of the field. Campbell actually looks like he has learned a lot over the last year and I think he's become a solid leader out there. Portis needs to step up his injury prone butt though. Ledell Betts has been performing great just as he did last year and you gotta wonder... if your Gibbs, how much longer do you ride your star back? Betts has proven he's an assett out of the backfield running and recieving the ball. He is the back tailored more towards making a big play.

All this is coming from a Broncos fan! I cheer both for and against the skins depending on who they are playing. I think they finally have a team that looks like it is coming together. They have some good leaders on that team, they are playing team football and they are not making as many mistakes as they have in years past. While it's early in the season I almost want to call them my number two sleeper team in the NFC besides Green Bay (who I called in the pre-season).

P:s: You guys looked like you didn't miss Jon Jansen too much last night. Good win fellas.

That would be hail to the skins!!!!   DC!!!!     Sure glad theres only two of you for me to smack around.

Does this season seem like retro 90's?     I mean Green Bay, Dallas, San Fran, and Washington are all undefeated at 2-0.   Saints, Falcons, and other 0-2 like days of old.

I was very impressed with Campbells play last night.   He was looking off defenders, making multiple reads, standing in the pocket and taking hits while accurately delivering the ball.

I would also rather have a ball over thrown than falling short.   He will  make that throw more often than not.     Strong arm, led a team to 13-0 that came from the SEC.   Best looking QB in Washington in along time.   CAn run when needed also.

With all that being said, i'll keep smack talk down for a while.

Nice victory!!!!!

Another skins fan here. I agree, Campbell looked good. I was also happy to see Gibbs go for a touchdown instead of a field goal after those stupid penalties on the goal line. This skins team seems like they want to win, something I thought they lacked in recent years. With the Eagles and Giants at 0-2 it looks like the NFC East might be between the Redskins and Cowboys, can't wait for those games.

The question is can the Redskins beat Dallas.  That is going to be real tough for them as Dallas has been lighting up the field this year.  The other question is how many more years will Gibbs want to coach if he doe not make it to the superbowl this year?

Yeah the Dallas game should really show if we have playoff potential or not...and i dont see gibbs sticking around more than 3 more years super bowl or not..Bill Cowhler in Burgandy and Gold? haha

Hail to the Redskins

Hail Victory

Indians on a Warpath

Fight for ol' Dixie (or D.C.)

I am a huge Redskin (and Steelers) fan.  My father was born and raised in Wahington D.C., so my earliest memory is watching the Redskins win the Superbowl in January of 1983.  I was rather impressed with Campbell the other night.  As far as Bill Cowher coaching the Redskins, you may have to fight the Carolina Panthers for him (since he bought a huge home there).

Donnie Warren was my high school security guard. Big guy. Kind of a jerk, but that probably had something to do with the fact I was always getting into trouble.

The boys/bears game should be very good indicator for Dallas.

Chicago has only lost at home 3 times in 2 years at home, so it don't matter how bad Rex is playing at home, they just win.    Chicago is favored by 3 at home.

On the Skins/ boys game.    Anytime an NFC East team plays, you never know how it will turn out.   Throw out the intanibles cause their has never been a love hate relationship in the east, its hate hate.    TRoy and the boys were 0-15 until the last game of the year with the Skins, and Dallas won that one in Washington.    That sums it up.
