Of course .... and that's 69-32 ;) 8-)

Defense is scaring me though.  We could have some real problems with Okie State next week.

im tellin ya from a kstate person...they're LEGIT!

We'll see....

They still have to get through Mizzou at Arrowhead and then Oklahoma in the Big XII title game.  But with this year's crazy season, who knows?

Whether Kansas is the real deal or not won't be seen for awhile.    Kansas has a very good coach and he's doing a great job.   I have no doubt that KU would give Texas a beat down either.      Congrats on the Beat down of NU.    They deserved that, and a few more.    For years NU, did the very same.    I don't like it for the players, but the fans deserved to be on the other end after all those seasons.

Tough one for me this year.    I am Texas first, Big xII all the way.    I'm a mizzou fan because of the young qb is native texan that played near by, and kansas is always on the bottom,     win win for me, either or will do for the south.

I agree Matt. When Osborne was coach he loved to run up the score. Now they're getting some of their own medicine.

Falcon

Matt, no fewer than 25 players on KU's roster are from Texas including Todd Reesing from near Austin.  C'mon man, jump on board!! :D

You got me, since KU is now fifth in the BCS and undefeated, I'll take KU just because they are undefeated and I think, have a better shot at the Championship game.      I meant to say AP, I don't know why I said BCS today.

Its still a win win.

Matt

OK, I know that Kansas is having a great year, and put a lickin' on my sorry excuse for a husker Defense, but I couldn't let this one slide.

That couldn't be further from the truth.  Dr. Tom Osborne is a true class act. He is a honest, hard working, man of excellent character.  "If" he did indeed run up the score, it was because our '95 husker team is considered one of, if not the best team in all of college football.  Their offense averaged 394 rushing yards per game and the defense was one of the best NU has ever seen.  Also with running up the score, one answer to that.  Get a better defense.  When you hear KU beat Nebraska 76-38, you don't hear everyone in husker nation claiming that KU ran up the score.  And if they did, who cares, they can.  They want to make a name for themselves nationally.  What you hear from Husker Nation is that our defense is terrible, we don't blame it on the other team.

Ok, one more thing.  I can't believe that you are taking shots at Nebraska's fans.  Several national sports writers has stated that NU has some of the best fans in the sport.  There have been several times over the years when NU has lost a home game and gave the opposing team a standing ovation for their great efforts that day!  I'm hinting at when Texas came up to lincoln a few years ago and won.

Easy fellow.    First off,  I do think NU has some of the classiest fans.    I have been to 3 UT NU games, only one that UT lost was in San Antonio.   I have never seen better fans.

Its nice to be a kansas fan, after all, haven't they been the one to set through all the beat down in the past.

Get real, alot of fans aren't students, students come and go, but fans are there every year.   So do the players, come and go.    They are the ones that deserves to be on the winning side, and a few more just like it want tarnish Nebraska.

I'm sure you can find the very same posted on another thread on this forum and others.     NU has had the classiest fans I'v seen in the Big XII.

But I won't change my feelings, KU and its fans deserve to give a few more beat downs,

Trust me, when it comes to basketball, there  are alot of colleges that would like to do the same to KU basketball program.

Hope this misunderstanding is clear.

Matt

Matt,  All is well.  Thanks for making your point a little more clear to me.  I definately see your point about the beat-downs, I guess I just read into it a little too much.  No hard feelings.

I guess that thing that kinda rubbed me the wrong way, was that Falcon was taking shots at Dr. Tom Osborne, someone had to defend T.O.  Whether or not you agree with Tom Osborne, you have to respect what he has done at Nebraska and for college football.

Well time for me to chime in.  I'm surprised but not shocked to the score.  Congrats to KU and their fans, and I have no problem with the score.  I get tired of the running it up crap.  If you don't want the score ran play defense.  Nebraskans cheered like crazy when we were providing those beatings now its our turn to be gracious realizing we get to take a little of the medicene we enjoyed giving.

As for Tom Osborne running up the score.  Most of those scores came when Nebraska was the visitor and playing with a travel roster of 60 players.  When you're limited to who you can through in to mop up because they're better than the others starters what are you to do, tell them to lay down.

Hey Live, its easy to be the best fans in America when you've had nothing but winning for  40 years.  I hope we will continue to earn that designation as we rebuild.  I'm confident we will but it has become more difficult to stomach this crap.  I guess I have a greater fear of turning ugly from within not to the other opponents.

As always, GO BIG RED

I lived in Neb. City for four long years one decade.  Being a KU fan was fun during basketball but was pretty embarassing during football.  I do believe Dr. Tom would run up the score some but usually just to make a point.  Either someone said something derogatory or played them a close game the year before.  As far as KU running up the score, I think we only scored 7 points in the 4th quarter.  99% of the Ne. fans were great (not necessarily including students).  All schools, including KU, have their a-holes and they are usually the ones that get noticed.
