so there is a fly flying about six inches above the water......

in the stream below there is a bass, he thinks "ya know, if that fly came down about four inches, i could jump up and eat it, and have a nice snack."

on the shore there is a bear, watching the bass watching the fly....he thinks, "if that fly came down four inches, that bass would jump up to eat it, and i could grab the bass and have a nice snack."

across the stream there is a hunter eating a peanut butter sandwich, watching the bear, watching the bass, watching the fly...he says to himself..."if that fly came down four inches, that bass would jump up, that bear would reach out to grab the bass, i could drop my peanut butter sandwich, shoot the bear, and have a great snack!"

behind the hunter there is a mouse watching the hunter, watching the bear, watching the bass, watching the fly....he figures..."if that fly came down four inches, that bass would jump up, the bear would reach out, the hunter will drop his peanut butter sandwich to shoot the bear and i could eat the sandwich and have a nice snack."

in the treeline is a cat watching the mouse, watching the hunter, watching the bear, watching the bass, watching the fly...he thinks to himself..."if that fly came down four inches that bass would jump up, the bear would reach out, the hunter would drop his sandwich to shoot the bear, the mouse would go after the sandwich and i could pounce on the mouse for a great snack!"

sooooooo......

the fly comes down four inches, the bass jumps up, the bear reaches out for the bass, the hunter drops his peanut butter sandwich and shoots the bear, the mouse runs for the sandwich, and the cat leaps on the mouse, misses and lands in the stream!!

whats the moral of the story???
