Keep in Mind...

Featured Replies

I know there is a large portion of our BR members that are hunters and probably more that are hikers/outdoor enthusiasts. I just wanted to give you guys fair warning that these days are getting colder and to be prepared for the weather out there. Also to bring a partner along with you when you go trekking out in the woods this time of year. We here in NH are following a story very closely of a local old hunter that has gotten himself lost in a state park. You can read more about the story here. Im hoping for a safe and happy return to his family.

On the same note, when I go fishing, I tell my wife what lake I will be fishing, what boat launch I will be using and what time I expect to be off the water.  If anything changes I call her on my cell if possible.  I ALWAYS call her as soon as I get off the water.  It takes a bit of worry off her mind, and gives her a chance to get rid on any strange man who may be " visiting."   ;D ;D
