What's A Good Beef Jerky Recipe?

Featured Replies

I've been making beef jerky the same way for years.  I use 2 parts Soy Sauce, 1 part Worcestershire sauce, and 1 bottle of Dale's All Purpose Seasoning.  It makes a good jerky that lasts for a month or more on the counter.

Does anyone else have another recipe to try?

If you get the Food Network, there is a guy on there (Alton Brown) that showed how you could make jerky. Go to their web site and find AB's show. His recipe should be on there. No personal experience with it though...

I use a mix from Luhr-Jensen. I get rave reviews from friends and family every time I make it.

I forgot to add that I dehydrate the meat, and not cook it.   :)
