Any of you guys been watching the tennis?

The Blake match yesterday was amazing, and so was the Federer match.  Lookin' forward to Blake/Cilic, then hopefully Blake/Federer in the quarters.  Also looking forward to the Sharapova match

I'm glad I"m not the only one who's been watching the Open so far.  The Federer/Tipsarevic match was amazing, one of the best matches I've seen in a long time.

On the down side, Roddick continues to disappoint.

I will watch Tennis for 1 reason, and I think Avid would agree with me....Sharipova. :)

Then you're missing out on a great sport.

Sharapova's playing right now, and she's just dominating so far.

The thing I can't stand is the freaking sounds these girls make on the court.  It's pretty annoying.

It is one of those games I would rather play than watch.

Well tennis is like a lot of other sports in that for most people, in order really to be able to enjoy watching it, you have to have played it or watched it a lot to be able to appreciate the subtleties.  It's the same with golf.  There's no other sport I'd rather watch on TV than golf, with fishing a close second, and most people would probably consider those two sports the most boring ones to watch.

im just pulling yer leg, but seriously i can watch golf, fishing, pretty much anything but nascar, tennis, or soccer. Ive just never had any desire to watch them especially nascar, i never got that whole thing

I can understand Nascar - I really don't get it.

A friend of mine is big into Nascar, and I watched it with him a couple times at school.  What I said before about having to understand all the subtleties in order to enjoy watching it is definitely true.  He was talking about all this technical crap like the height of the front bumper to different passing techniques, and he was getting all excited about it.  I was like, "Are you serious?"  But to each his own I guess.

At least teh sorry #$&*#*@*@&@*$&$*#&@&^@#^@&@*#*@#&^@'s at ESPN could let us know that they aren't going to be televising their normally scheduled programming this weekend.

I've got 2 hours of that stupid $&*$)#)#) tennis on my DVR.

Gentlemen, Gentlemen,  Based upon my extensive research,  the following, in order of importance, are how spectator sports rate on the Testosterone Scale.   ;D

1.  College Football

2.  Pro Football

3.  NASCAR

4.  College Basketball

5.  Pro Basketball

6.  Women's Beach Volleyball

7.  Bass Fishing

8.  Golf

9.  Tennis

10.  Bowling

11.  Soccer

Tennis is great. Majors, of course, are the best to watch, especially for casual fans since the coverage is so extensive and in depth. I go to the RMK Championships in Memphis, and it's unreal to see top pros in action. Tennis is the only other sport I'll wake up early to participate in.  ;)
