Deer Camp (video)

Featured Replies

A few weeks ago we had our anual deer camp down at my uncle's ranch in Texas. It was loads of fun even though I wasn't able to get a shot at a deer. It sure beats 20 degrees and going to school up here!

Heres the video:

Dude, that was awesome!!

I don't hunt but I really felt like I have a good idea of your experience and that's what it's about.  Having these vids when you are older is going to be priceless!!

The thought you gave to specific shots was excellent.  Yup, someone noticed ;)

Timing, choreography, editing, awesome.

Like I said, I feel like I was there and that's what you are trying to convey.  Excellent job.

Man that was a nice video. Did yall have any uninvited guess? I though I saw Burley hiding in the bushes.

Video was very well put together.  I feel the same as LBH.  Nice job! ;)

thanks for the post, I really enjoyed it.

Brought back some great memories.

Nothing like a deer camp for male bonding.

You can almost smell the testosterone..........

Well thanks. :)

I was going to use the song "God Blessed Texas" but I couldnt get it to work. (iTunes silly security stuff....)

Cool video, but do they not require that gun hunters in Texas wear orange?  I never saw blaze anywhere in that whole video.  Not trying to be negative just curious as to their laws.

We where hunting in blinds (never walking through the woods) on a private fenced ranch. I'm not sure what the laws are about wearing orange in Texas but we where plenty safe without it.

Now if I was walking around in the woods this time of year here in NJ, I would want as much blaze on as possible. Its plain unhealthy to go stomping around these parts without orange on becuase it is so heavily hunted.

that was a pretty cool video......i went out yesterday and saw 6 but didnt get any. its still fun to get out tho :)

Texas doesn't require blaze orange while hunting on private land.
