What ever happened to Mike Ike and his fishing comedy movie?

That movie or rumors of it seem to keep coming up occasionally here too. But, nothing ever happens with it.

I heard so much about it, but Havn't found out exact date, plots, etc. I heard Mike Ike sign with fox tv to make a movie base on his book.

LMAO, Billy Ray Cyrus asked for a medic after receiving cuts on his thumb from holding a bass. :-X ::)

Maybe National Lampoon should do one called: "The One That Got Away" or "Bass House" or something like that??:o)

So that makes for three different bass fishing movies to come out.  The Bassmasters which is suppose to be a comedy, Ike's life story, and now this one.  We'll see how fast this one evolves.  The other two I heard of them when they were first planning on coming out with it and never heard anything since.

bassin_man form that article it sounds like this one is actually being filmed now. I'm thinking this one should take off the quickest.

Wow, straight to DVD starring Engvall and Billy Ray Mullethead.

This should be an awesome film.

After some more digging around it looks like they had planned to finish up the recording at the Toho marina by the end of February.

I guess bass fishing is "big time" now that it has a movie just like NASCAR and figure skating.
