We need to do something about the proposal of Pebble mine......

Pebble mine is a proposed development of an open pit mining district at the headwaters of the two most famous salmon producing river drainages in Alaska --the Mulchatna/ Nushagak River drainage and the Newhalen / Kvichak River drainage, both of which feed into the renowned Bristol Bay. The proposed Pebble Mine, which would be the first of many, would include the largest dam in the world, larger than Three Gorges Dam in China.

This mine will bring devastation to one of the worlds largest  sockeye salmon spawning grounds in the world. It would also devastate the entire ecosystem of Bristol Bay.

I'm sure most of you guys know about this. Just thought I would spread the word to those of you that don't. Its time to stand up and take action. Northern Dynasty Minerals in the next couple of years is suppose to apply for the permits.
