They are on Gville in Alabama fishing a tourny? I couldnt get Burley on his cell?

I just got off the phone with him. They are on their way back and are going through Sevierville, TN right now and stopping at Bass Pro Shops. I guess the weather and the wind down there were something to behold. He said they had two foot waves and the wind was blowing the boat all over the lake. All this mixed with downpours and 40 degree temps have made for tough fishing conditions. He said they were expecting 25 mph winds tomorrow with snow in the forcast and they wasn't gonna stay around for that. I can't say I blame him much. I'm sure he'll post all about it later on tonight when he gets home.

Just spoke to Burley, they are fishing at the tank in BPS!!!!!! They will be home in a couple of hours.

you can catch some nice fish in there. Perfect conditions.

You see, Burley is actually smart.

Now, tomorrow (Saturday, March 8th) I am fishing in a tournament on Lake Gaston.  

Winds up to 19 MPH. Rain. Thunderstorms.

Do you think we will postpone the tournament?

I hope so but my best best is no.

Now, to get my boater friend to stay in Popular Creek.

I hate bad weather.

Yep, supposed to be ****** on Smith Mtn tomorrow as well Sam. Not looking forward to it at all but its a points tournament so its hard to skip.

I wonder if Burley's going to sell all the tackle he bought specifically for that Guntersville tournament? Keep an eye on the Flea Market later!

They cancelled all the tournaments on Ky. this weekend. We're finally getting that snow the kids wanted...about two months late!

I hope Burley remembers the rule for the State vs. State:

Yep I've got to hit the Roanoke tomorrow with winds 25-30mph and drenching rains, then it's on to Gaston Sunday. Sam let me know how you do Saturday.
