Linux Users?

Featured Replies

Anyone else here use a Linux operating system?  I switched over about a year ago when Microsoft tried to hold me hostage for another upgrade.  Best decision I ever made.  I'm running Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and Xubuntu (yes, all three).  I switch back and forth periodically just to get a new look.  It's totally free, so why not.  Anyone else?  If you haven't looked into it, don't be afraid to try a new system.  It's much easier than you think.  I make every effort to not use a Microsoft product when I can keep from it.

In the past I've used Red Hat (now fedora), Mandrake, and some Debian. I've been meaning to  try Ubuntu but just haven't got around to it. My laptop has vista and it suits me fine so far. I have some bootable distros that i use for my security stuff but other than that I don't dabble in it much anymore.

Maybe when I buy a new desktop  8-)

The only problem with Linux is the printer drivers.  I run a dual boot system but the Linux OS does not support my photo quality printers.
