Quality, not quanity applies to Easter egg hunting too!

Featured Replies

Our youngins' just finished their annual Easter egg hunt. 6 kids and about 200 eggs. The older ones dashed out across snatching up every egg in their path. But my youngest son, Gavin 7 years old, just calmly lagged out there passing up a few eggs and started selectively picking up an egg here and an egg there. By the time the hunt was over he had only picked up 12 eggs. With most hunts there is a couple "golden eggs". Our family doesn't paint the egg gold. It's what's inside that counts!

As I watched Gavin open his first egg, a $5 bill fell out. Then he opens another and a $10 falls out!

This may be a sign of things to come. Some of you already know, he's ahead of his time with a rod and reel in hand!  :)

Yeah, I think I need to have his DNA tested. He's starting to resemble a certain Cali guy named Chris. LOL ;D
