They were doing some training today and we got to see these guys picking up water. They were much closer than this pic would suggest. Pretty cool. There were four birds in the air this one and another like it (Huey?) a Chinook, and one that I have no idea what it was. It was pretty cool for awhile but after about an hour of them buzzing around I was starting to feel my "outdoor experience" getting hampered, lol.

I wouldnt mind doing that. I went to a boat dealership yesterday evening and talked to a guy who takes people out to the lake with the boat they are looking at and test drives it. Now thats what im talkin about!

FYI. That's a Blackhawk. They don't fly Huey's anymore.

Hey Fluke, I respectfully have to correct you, They still do fly Huey's. I live one mile from Selfridge Air National Guard Base, and there is an air wing that still flies them from the base. I'm very familiar with Huey's from 'Nam.
