I recently bought an 03' Dodge Ram SLT. I plan on having this one for a while so im slowly upgrading 1 thing at a time. So far i have tinted the windows and put on some dual flows.I plan on getting a 6'' lift sometime soon but dont know to much about it and i cant find a shop to talk to someone about it.

 

     I have looked online and found that there is suspension and body lifts but whats the difference other than the obvious? Does it really decrease your mpg? Tires, i dont want to have my current ones on with a lift because they are way to small and imo would look goofy. Any suggestions on some good tires? Like i said i dont know much because i cant find anyone to talk to about this stuff so any help would be appreciated.

yeah i think the AT's can go for well over 60,000 miles before needing replacement.  best bang for your buck i think.  i had them put on my old toyota which had a 4 inch lift.  it had 33's on it.  man i loved that truck, wish i never GAVE IT AWAY!!!!

the suspension gives you more ground clearance than a body lift if you are going 6" go suspension it will be more expensive. will it cut into your MPG yes bigger tires = more power to turn them = more gas used
