Rattles for your plastics

Featured Replies

So I have been fishing plastic lizards and worms lately with good results but some days I feel like I need a little more to attract the bass. I bought Lunker Sauce and 1/8oz glass rattles from basspro I have not had time to try these items yet. Has anyone tried these on there set ups. I never have luck with jitterbugs, spinners, or shallow divers either I catch them on plastics or nothing at all. I am fishing small ponds in delaware lots of grass in the water lots of over hanging trees on the shores. We do mostly shore fishing waters are very clear last week we saw a 2 1/2 pound bass suspended about a foot fromshore line. We caught the 3 pound bass sticking close behind the 2 1/2 bass but still staying in a little deeper water behind is this like a male female thing I have never really seen this before

eastcoastfisher, you might want to ask that second question in the Rod and Reels section. You'll get more replys there.

As for the rattles. I use them alot. I have three different sizes for different plastics, depending on their thickness. Use super glue to seal the hole after you stick them in.
