This is a sad day for me.  Kevin Duckworth, dies of an apparent coronary.  He was the starting center for the Portland Trailblazers when they made their runs at the championship in the late 80's and early 90's.

I actually met him once.  I was at a JK Gill at one of the local malls, buying something.  I was writing a check at the counter, when I felt this giant shadow fall over and around me.  It was Duck.  He was signing autographs for some kids and his pen had run out of ink.  Instead of saying that's all to the kids, he came in and  bought another pen to continue signing.  

He truly was a great guy, and he loved to fish as much as he loved to play basketball.  To bad he did not take care of himself better. :'(

R.I.P. Duck.
