I'd never seen this poem before but it's a good illustration of how crazy the language is.  It is quite remarkable how we somehow manage to navigate the English language as well as we do (some of us, anyway).

I've been told that the english language is the hardest to learn of all.  Not sure where the english language fits, but once i realized that many other languages are based on latin, I found it is sometimes not that hard to figure out what is being said.  As long as others say it slow enough.

Old George must have been really bored/board/boared (poetic license on the third one.  If you are gored by a boar, wouldn't you be boared?)
