my pre-ordered copy came in toda (the release date) and all i have to say is IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!!!

i reccomend all metallica fans listen to it, it is better than i expected. plenty of thrash in there

I guess I will have to tune in to the XM Metalica station and listen to the songs.

I got to listen to all the tracks and it is better than I expected but only a step up from St. Anger. Hopefully their stuff just returns to the golden days of Kill em All and MOP.

I did a search on Death Magnetic before I posted my own thread, and this one did not come up... Sorry for the duplicate...

I like the album, and I hated load/reload/st anger, etc.  It isn't golden age, but it is better than the Black album and anything after it.  

The Drums are too darn loud though.  Lars sucks.
