drop shop jig rig?

I was wondering if anyone has tried a dropshop rig with a jig instead of the weight at the bottom. If so, how did you do?

great question, I want to know as well. I bet you need to tie the jig to a barrel swivel to stop line twist. I have been meaning to try this with an 1/8 or a 1/4oz bitsy bug and a roboworm. I bet you might be suprised- may as well have a hook on everything that moves down there.

I've used it with a 1/4oz jig around deep, rocky areas with success.  Funny thing was I caught more fish on the jig than I did the soft plastic lure.  I can't remember the trailer that I was using, though I'm pretty sure it was a finesse worm by zoom.  I didn't use a swivel though...didn't even think about it.
