I have 40's on my truck, heres a quick video I made for a friend to help him decide. I think 40's have the best flowmaster sound but 44's are a good choice also.

If it was just the muffler I would. But I'll be getting dual pipes out the back and tips put on, so I'm gonna take it to a muffler shop.

Is your Jeep a 6 banger or an 8 and is it one of the Delta-Flow series?

My cousin put one of the Original 40 Delta-flow on his 4.0 Jeep and it sounds like a ticked of mail truck.

His model/year jeep only comes in a 6 if im correct. We had an 05 6 cylinder Jeep Grand Cherokee come in the other day to get his cat fixed. He had Magnaflow on it and it sounded like it was farting down the road  :-X. Flowmaster is naturally deeper sounding so it shouldnt sound too bad on a 6 cylinder.

Ya I was really impressed with Original 40. Put it on my 4.0 Ranger, opened it up to 3" and dumped it before the rear tire. Sounds better than I could have dreamed of for a 6. Gas milage went up a too along with the K&N.

And it sounds d**n good! I drove an 89 supercharged 5.0 and it had 40's with high flow cats, I just stood there in awe of the looks and sound  8-). Probably the nicest muscle car I have ever seen.
