Hey cullen harper, instead of bad mouthing your former coach...you should know your part of the problem.

I can't believe cullen had the nerves to say that about his coach.

I don't know if this was a good move or not, but I do know that their offense really sucks. I don't know why they fired him unless he was the offensive coordinator.

I said before Clemson played Bama they were rated to high for having 4 new offensive Linemen starting.   Even with two stud backs.

I guess 3-3 and the last loss to Wake Forest was the straw that broke the camels back.

Don't really have a reaction to the firing, its not like they are or have been power house in the past to save his job.

I have not heard the news so thanks for informing us.

On the local Richmond sports show on Saturday the guys were talking about the great expectations for Clemson this year and how poorly the team has played.

I guess going 3-3 when you were expected to challenge for the BCS Championship and walk through the ACC with ease was too much for Clemson's AD and administration.

Maybe Bowden can replace Al Groh at Virginia or Tubby at Auburn when Tubby implodes or Phat Phil Phulmer at Tennessee if the Vols continue on their downward spiral.

Hey, the Tire Bowl in Charlotte is a nice bowl.  So why is Clemson so upset when in the real world, we all knew Clemson was a subpar ACC team.

I don't understand why people always get excited about Clemson every preseason. They are chronic chokers that lose games they shouldn't and ruin their preseason high rankings.

What I think is crazy is that the university gave him a huge extension in 2007 to keep him from Arkansas and then this year they think he is the problem.  Anytime I see logic like that I'm going to fall on the side of that even if the coach was part of the problem there is a bigger problem out there.

It all starts with the school president and the athletic director. Therein lies the real problem.

President hires the AD, AD hires the coach. It just goes on from there.

Shame they could not start with firing some of the players.
