Anybody used Lucky Craft Fat CB?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience with these? I picked up a couple of the Fat CB BDS 2's. I was looking for some shallow cranks without rattles and these were suggested to me. I am hoping that they can fill a little gap in my shallow cranks.

I throw them a lot...I've caught a lot of fish on them.  The 1 and 2 share the same action, with the 2 obviously being larger.  The 3 and 4 are shaped more like a minnow than a wobbler, and have a little different 'swimming' action.  The BDS 2 is one mean shallow water wobbler; it's a 4x4.

Love these lures. Hope you picked up one in Ghost Minnow. GHost Minnow is the best color for clear water IMO.

I use them with great sucess. It's onne of my favorite LC crankbaits.

Yeah, I got one in Ghost Minnow and one in Chartreuse/Blueback. I appreciate your info. I have been using Jackall's Aragon SSR and Mann's 1-minus for my shallow cranking, and they both work great. While doing some sight-fishing with them, I noticed after they landed the fish came up and took a look, thinking about eating. As soon as the rattling started, the fish took off. Both of their rattles are fairly loud, almost like a trap. I did throw the Lucky CB's in the pool and really like their wobble. Gonna try them out tomorrow.

Used the Fat CB(chartreuse/blueback and ghost minnow) this morning, before my outboard died(clogged up carb). They worked great on the shallows, I caught several 2-3lbs. The only problem is I think I am going to change the rear hooks to a smaller size. Those big suckers pulled up a ton of grass and milfoil.
