So my hula popper skirt is completely melted, I can't really find replacement skirts anywhere near me so I might have to order online.  

Has anyone done any modified replacements at all?  I was thinkin a dressed treble hook or something might be effective....

    you could take a sheet of latex (from a rubber glove or something) and cut it into a strip that would fit and then glue it onto the peg and then cut the latex into a skirt w/ scisors.

    or you could go to a craft store and find a sheet of this really thin leather (my local Michael's has it) and do the same with that.
