Rust in Peace (Megadeth)

Featured Replies

My original copy was stolen some time ago and I bought the remastered version from Best Buy and it turns out that Dave Mustaine should stick to guitar and not remastering songs.  The original recordings just sounded way better.  Anybody else ever run into this problem with "remastered" albums?

I noticed this on my Pearl Jam - Ten.   I have the older original version on CD and downloaded the newer remastered versions off Napster.  Big difference IMO.  I still like the original Star Wars better too so I'm kind of biased.  :-/

It's kind of like the re-mastering of old albums.  For some there was just something about the crackle and pop that went with it.  You kind of got used to it, and now clean and crisp recordings just don't sound the same.

Another thing I hate is when you find a really cheap CD of an old band you like, get it home, and they're all live cuts.  I didn't think about this when I was younger and attending them, but why do people have to scream all the way through a set of music at a concert?

Speaking of Metal, found this article this morning.

I love how the suggest to "You can reduce your chance of injury by using protective equipment like neck braces".  LMFAO!!!!!  Could you image if you wore a neck brace to a metal concert.  You would get beat up in a heart beat!!!

Jay, Can you say "Lamb of God Concert??"
