An elderly gent was invited to an old friends home for dinner one evening. He was impressed by the way his buddy preceded every request to his wife with endearing Terms such as: Honey, My Love, Darling, Sweetheart, Pumpkin, etc.

The couple had been married almost 70 years and, clearly, they were still very much in love.

While the wife was in the kitchen , the man leaned over to his host, 'I think it's wonderful that, after all these years, you still call your wife those loving pet names''s.

The old man hung his head. 'I have to tell you the truth,' he said, 'Her name slipped my mind about 10 years ago and I'm scared to death to ask the old bat what it is?

Thanks Ghoti!

I've challenged our congregation to memorize Matthew chapters 5,6,7 as I preach through them the first few months of this year.  Several of the folks are working hard, and memorizing the Scripture, but a few older ladies have complained each week that their memories are too bad.  I'm going to use this joke tonight with one of their names. ;) ;D

Good one.

Here is one back at you:

An elderly couple went to have dinner at another elderly couple's home.

After dinner, the women went to the kitchen to talk and clean up. The two old guys sat on the sofa.

The first guy said, "We went to a movie and it was great."

The second guy asked, "What one was it?"

The first guy replied, "What do you call that red flower with thorns on the stem?"

The second guy answered, "a rose."

The first old man then yelled, "Hey Rose, what was the name of the movie we say yesterday?"  ;D   ;D   ;D
