ill admit im new to the whole bass fishing thing soooo.... what is the diffrence between swimmin jigs and well what do you call them i guess "other types".. and how do you use them i bought a booyah swimmin jig what it is for??

I use my swim jig for just a the name implies. I lift and drag the jig back to me not really letting it touch the bottom (imitate baitfish). If I'm in the weeds I like a Archie style this I am imitating a crawfish. Football head sandy/gravel areas when again imitating crawfish. Rocks I like the Archie there too the slender head doesn't get hung up a much. I hope this helps. Jigs are a versitale bait and there a great article on using them on this site.
