Four legged fishing buddies

Featured Replies

I've taken my current dog fishing once on my john boat. Black, long haired chihuahua doesn't care for the sun so he just panted the whole time. And he was afraid of the fish too! Here's a pic similar to what he looks like...........

See I knew that a lot of guys took their dogs out with em. Great looking buncha hounds if I do say so myself.

What was the deal with that one hound that had the colored feather boas and stuff?

What kinda hound is he?

;D

The one time I have braved taking my boy out since he was a pup, we went to rough river and it took me forever to get him in the water. I think he would do so much better if I got him a doggie vest.

Cyas,

My boxer, Molly, insists on going everywhere with me :). On the boat she ALWAYS wears a flotation vest ;). Boxers are poor swimmers :(.     Happy fishing.

Here me with my best buddy and gal. Miles is the gray beard. He's only 5 but it makes him look much older. He's been gray since about 1 and half.

I don't get to take him fishing as much as I'd like. Like someone else said I have a 14 ft jon and there's only so much room for a hundred pound dog.
