Of course I am, but maybe you might consider this.

Living with bears is a good way to get eaten by bears.  But I think this theory has already played out to the affirmative.

When I was a kid, I fantasized about being a mountain man.  Now that I'm older (and maybe a little wiser), I know that as soon as my stash of peanut m&m's and raspberry Zingers gave out, I'd be in real trouble.

Hum....  Crazy yes for doing it without some form of way to contact the rest of the world.

But I can understand somewhat why he went at it alone.  Since my first canoe float at the age of 16 on Neches river of 45 miles I have always wanted to go and Canoe/Float the Mighty Mississippi river from where it starts to it's end.

After coming across this web site I now want to do it more than ever.
