And they say the internet is useless..

Very very glad I brought my laptop with me. Checked into our condo a couple of hours ago, thermostat wasn't working and the whole joint was hotter than a snake's *** in a wagon rut (90* today). Tried to call the maintenance company, but they aren't in on Saturday afternoons.

So I did what any sane person would do. I googled Honeywell, went to their site and found the thermostat. Did a little troubleshooting and now we're cool as cucumbers.

That may be one of the few good things I've ever accomplished using the net. ;)

You could have taken a shower to cool yourself down while you was waiting on the thermostat to tco business.

Good thinking.

Are you going to try to get a reduction on the condo's cost for your work?  :D

So, I suppose you solved the problem by flipping that little switch from Heat to Cool, didn't you?   :D

No, smartass... ;)

The heat/cool and auto/hand switches worked.  The digital readout didn't work and I had no way to adjust the thermostat.  I pulled the whole thermostat, then reinstalled.  Everything started working.  I guess I rebooted it.
