What else could go wrong???

Featured Replies

Well a friend and i went to fish a new lake about an hour away from home. This was after i got off work at 3:30

We get to the launch ramp around 5:00 and hit the trim up to get the motor support bar off. Nothing!!! check all the things that are connected to the starter battery. Nothing!!!  :'(So we come to the conclusion that my battery is dead. What to do next? Drive around for the next hour and a half looking for a place to get a battery. No marine dealers open. We ended up finding an Advanced Auto that had one. $80 later finaly got that instaled. Back at ramp around 6:30 with every thing working

Bad night Huh? But wait there is more

Start fishing. nothing was biteing. well we decided to fish till dark. Well its time to get the lights out. Put them in. Nothing!!! :'( so our night gets cut short :'(

But wait there is more!!!

Get home around 10:30. Plug the bank charger in to charge the little bit of battery that was used so i can go out tomarow. Guess what wasnt working??? The bank charger!!!

Over comeing that and the abnormal amount of backlashes we managed one fish.

Yes, fishing stories for the future cookouts.

You all will laugh at this one, one day, and share more stories of what went wrong.

I can tell you a number of catastrophes.  Like the one that happened to my friend at a B.A.S.S. tournament.

He forgot to remove one of the rear boat straps when he launched.  What a mess and an embarrassing moment as another guy had to jump on his boat and unhook the strap.

Then, he found out that he had destroyed his trolling motor prop and he had to replace that.

Just cherish the memories for there will be a lot more before you croak.  :D
