Great, just what you needed, something to make you even lazier.

BTW, that was my roomate you and jared were trying to invite last night.  I had to quit playing and he took over.  I really think i'm getting Carpal Tunnel.  Gonna get it checked out at the end of the week.  I'll be on tonight

If its anything like my house, you will now be yelled at anytime the wife / girlfriend / mom wants to turn the tv on, adjust the volume, or change the channel. Wait until you have to explain how to play a movie...

Davis, that is what is so awesome.

Not only does it control each individual component, it perfroms what it calls "Activities"

If you select "Play Xbox", it turns on the Xbox and the TV, and automatically switches the input on the TV to whichever one the Xbox uses.

Same for DVD and so on. Its freaking brilliant. This is not your old man's Radio Shack universal remote.

Also, who said that the wife/girlfriend/mom should be allowed to touch the remote? ;D

That one looks pretty simple. My dad bought one that required a technician to come out and program it with a laptop. It took him about 3 or 4 hours. It would automatically change the surround sound settings if you told it to turn on the Blu-ray player. It was a universal remote, but when you told it to be another remote it showed every single button and setting. The turn off all button is sweet too. It ended up being so complicated that we put it away and use 5 remotes. I know its easy for you and I, but good luck with the girl. Seriously, if she can handle it, you've got a keeper.

Someone has to hand it to us if it is out of reach.  ;D

Yeah the setup was super easy.

Just a USB to my computer, and about 15 minutes.

They are pretty pricey at retail but best buy had them $50 off.

I have four remotes in the living room, I've been considering getting one of those Harmony remotes.  The only problem is I doubt it could truly replicate my Dish Network DVR remote.

That's the thing that has always kept me from 1 single remote, there seems to always been 1 feature that the aftermarket remote doesn't have.  Maybe one day.  :'(
