Read the story....doesn't make anysense to me at all, I loved him when he was on the Patriots, but seriously 30 days??? Thats just not right at all. Michael Vick got more than this for dogfighting and he took someones life, not saying dogfighting isn't bad but there's something wrong here.

That dude ran out in front of his car!  If the driver is sober....no charges would be filed.  However....since the driver was drinking, they look at it like maybe he could have swerved and avoided him if he wasn't drunk.  Michael Vick is solely at fault in his deal.
