Sweet tea vodka, this is bad news!!!

Featured Replies

So normally i stick with my whiskeys (by far my fav. in the line of fire waters), with good ole jack on the rocks being the best for me.....

but, as i was perusing my local boozy store tonight.... the guy working the floor piqued my interest in the "sweet tea" vodka's that were available......

ive never had these before, and decided to buy a 750 of "sweet carolina".

its @ 70 proof.

and as i sit here with a tall glass of it on the rocks, it is way to good!!!!!!!!!

the taste is amazing, just like sweet tea.... but with the oh so great kick.....

........ this may be a major problem!!!

Next time try Firefly.

:)

Next time try Firefly.

have you had "sweet carolina" ???

just wonder what it is like in comparison, bc i do believe that im sold on this style now.

I've only had Firefly. I would personally rather have a sweet tea vodka that is made in the Carolinas than one that is called "Sweet Carolina" made in Maine. I don't trust northerners with sweet tea.

;D

Southern comfort and sweet tea used to be my favorite drink.

Been drinking vodka and iced tea for many years, it's called an Ice Pick... at least around here anyway. Some folks like it with a splash of Triple Sec, but I just like it with a lemon wedge, hold the sweetener. It's an oh-so-refreshing drink!

I've had a Firefly press a few times...not bad.  I like srv1990's drink the best.

We sell a ton of Jeremiah Weed Country Peach. It's made in Connecticut and they also have a bourbon mix as well.

I was in SC recently for a wedding, and that was the first I had heard of the stuff. They had an open bar (score), and they were making some kind of mixed drink with sweet tea vodka. Delicious. The lemonade/iced tea mix is called an Arnold Palmer, and people were calling these vodka drinks John Dalys. I don't think that's what they are actually called though.

I thought a John Daly was a couple of Wendy's Triple Baconators washed down with a 30 of Michelob Ultra.

You mean a couple of buckets of Hooters wings and some Natty light.   ;)
