I am thinking about jumping onto the swimbait bandwagon. But, I was wondering if anyone has had success with them in states like Indiana, Michigan and Illinois.

Also, what are 3 swimbaits that I should buy?

    I live in MO and they are working there. Here are a few off the top of my head.

    Mattlures Baby Bass and Bluegill

    6" lunker punker

    6" Huddleston or Baitsmith (Purple Ghost is awesome)

    Make sure you have a rod to throw these swimbaits.

    I don't think rods are going to be a problem, because I am a muskie fisherman and I have a couple rods that I think would suite them well enough.

    But, if I get really into them I will  probably buy a technique specific rod.
