Looking at doing some small mouth fishing and understand these will produce along with some others I'll be using.  Wondering if you guys have thrown these and if so what you thought about them?

Action, durability, type of bite you got, type of hookset you were able to get (clean ones where they ate it or foul hooks due to side swipes).  Thanks for any feed back.

Not a hot seller I take it?  Anybody other than me got any of these critters?

I have a couple in my box, but havent use them yet. I have heard mixed reviews with the main problem being the joint breaking. I have heard that the newer models have corrected this problem by inserting  a metal pin, but I don't know. Once the new Spro shad comes out I belive this lure will be obselete.

P.S. Try the SK. King Kong. It has a real loose action swiming through the water.

I have the strike king king shad in the blue gizzard shad color.  I fished this for about 1/2 hour on one of my fishing trips.  I caught a 1lb smallmouth off of a rocks point on an island.  It was a clean hookset, right in the side of his mouth.

I will say this dived deeper than i expected (10+ feet or so), which was nice, as i was able to get it to the depth i was looking for off of the rock ledges.

I will say that i definately have not used it nearly enough to give an opinion on it.
