rigging swim senko

Featured Replies

Just got some new swim senkos blk/blu.Went this last weekened and hooked up one to about 2 1/4. I had tex rigged it on a 3/0 owner worm hook w/ 1/8oz. tungsten slip sinker. I heard there was new ways to rig it on "insideline.net" , but cant seem to find it. Has anyone used these yet or have some new ways to rig it.

                          Thanks

I'm guessing Texas rigging is the best way to do it... Also C-rigging may be deadly.

I supose you could wacky rig it, but the normal senko is probaly better for this.

I T-rig mine with a Gambler, rattlin', 1/4 oz screw-in weight and a 4/0 Sugoi(GY's design) hook for pitchin' but I throw it weightless with the same hook way more.

Btw, you should notice that it's a little more 'hardy' and will last thru several bites; more than the original Senko.

It is definately a denser bait and still on the 1st one.Possibly may try to hook it on a weighted EWG, but because the bait seems heavier may be great weightless.I like the fact of securing the weight close to the bait. Thanks for all the input.
