Nate Newtons son Trey is playing at UT, had pretty good start to his career.   Came from SouthLake Carroll, highly coveted HS program in TX.

   I also saw a teen phenom, Barry Sanders' son is playing in Oklahoma in HS.    Helped his team to 15-0 as a 14 year old, is looking good as well this season.

  Also have seen Jack Nicklaus grandson making name for him self in football in Florida.   Looking to be top TE in HS for the 2011 draft class.

Any other famous sons, grandsons out there we haven't heard about?

Af few years back, Earl Campbell's son graduated from Austin Westlake.   Was WR and pretty good, but he decided against following in his fathers footsteps and went to Florida on a track scholarship.  Thats the last I heard on his son.

   

Howie Longs son went 2nd overall laste year i think to the Rams.

His other son is on a full ride at FSU for baseball. probably make it to the pros based on his last name alone.

and Michael Jordans son quit at Illinois to persue his studies. another just chose central florida to play at.

Jerry Rice JR is a freshman wr at UCLA. Not sure about any stats for him but his rivals report makes him sound mediocre.

Terry Robiski (LSU First Team All SEC 1976), NFL player and coach has a son playing for Ohio State.

Terry supported him when the Buckeyes played LSU for the BCS Championship.

Don't forget the Mannings.  Great family and you just got to like the dad and boys.  

Pistol Pete Maravich's son played for McNeese State.

Only problem was that the boy took after his mother for athletics and not his dad.
