Well i just got back from Target, and i had gone with the intention of buying a run of the mill crock pot....

but they had some top of the line lookin device on sale for 35 bucks.....  ive never seen so much crap on a crock pot.... its got built in meat thermometers and all sorts of other bells and whistles...

anyway, ive looked at MANY reciepes online.......

but id like to hear some of your personal favorites for the slow cooker...

im only used to the "high, low, off" models.....

Nothing special, just a nicely marbled roast, loaded with cajun seasoning and cooked on low for about 8 hours. Sometimes I'll throw some slices of onion on top.

That Mr. Food guy that does noon time recipes on sydicated news shows had a great recipe for a mexican dish involving a 8 hour slow cooked round roast today.  It just fell apart as you put a fork into it.

I should've wrote down the recipe.  Muddy's sounds good though.
