question about "quoting" on this board...

Featured Replies

when i quote someone, i copy all that was written....... then paste it between the quote insert....

no prob's with that....

but, if there are smilies.... or underlines.... etc....

it all just shows up as written stuff....

eg:

"jon doe had nothing better to do... cheesy cheesy grin"

i notice that everyone else has the smilies in the quotes, but the only way i can get this is if i delete the text of them and manually insert the smilies back in.....

is there a different way that im not aware of, or does everone manually enter them back in???

I approve. From now on, that combination of smilies means "Nice job, dumbie." Good work Dave

Is there a more intelligent combination that could mean "nice job dummy"?

What's wrong with "dumbie"? It's in the urbandictionary.
