And Yes, that's a very large perch.

It all depends how big the smallest bass is. If the bass is a 12 inch bass the perch is still nice, but not huge. IF the smallest bass is 16 inches yeh its a HUGE perch.

Those are huge!

Is there a specific season for perch? Is one season better than the other? They are beautiful fish, I'd love to catch one. Or twelve.

I got this one in a river, spring of 2008. Not a huge fish, but proportionately, the fattest perch I've ever seen. Look at the bottom view.

That is one of the coolest looking little fish I've seen.That thing is a cow. :o
